Morgan Fairchild (born Patsy Ann McClenny 3 February 1950) is an American actress from America. She achieved prominence during the final decade of 1970 and in the early 1980s with continuing roles in several television series, in which she usually conveyed the image of a glamourous woman. Fairchild made her debut in the role of Jennifer Pace in Search for Tomorrow in a CBS daytime soap that ran from 1973 until 1977. Then, in 1978, she was on the primetime soap show Dallas as the first actress to portray Jenna Wade before taking a main role in the NBC series Flamingo Road in 1980 (for which she received the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress - Television Series Drama). In 1984 she co-starred in ABC's short-lived soap opera Paper Dolls as well as a role as a character in Falcon Crest as attorney Jordan Roberts between 1985 and 1986. Fairchild also appeared in the theater and played appearances on TV programs like Murphy Brown and Roseanne Cybill. Fairchild was also nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award in 1985 due to her performance in the program. Fairchild is a member of the board of SAG-AFTRA.
