Jill AND Mary

Jillian Nellie Hennely was born in December 1968. She is an accomplished Canadian actress and performer who has made a significant contribution to American television. Her fame is due to her outstanding performances on the American TV series Law & Order where she fascinated viewers for three seasons as the prosecutor Claire Kincaid and Crossing Jordan when she played the lead character Jordan Cavanaugh for six seasons. The acting skills of Hennessy were displayed in the film RoboCop 3 Most Wanted as well as Chutney Popcorn (an independent film) and The Acting Class. In these films, Shennessy also demonstrated her writing and co-directing capabilities. Hennessy began her acting career along with her sister, playing twin call-girls on Dead Ringers in 1988. Her brief time performing on Broadway in the musical Buddy The Buddy Holly Story in 1990. The Buddy Holly Story in 1990 and stepped into the world of science fiction in 1993, playing Dr. Marie Lazarus in RoboCop 3. She got her big break later in the year, when she was cast as assistant District Attorney Claire Kincaid on the hit NBC drama Law & Order. In three seasons, her part was an instant hit with the public. The show ended in 1996. Parker is well-known for her appearances in television and film series including RED Fried Green Tomatoes Boys by the Side and The West Wing Angels of America and for which she received the Golden Globe Award as well as an Emmy Award. Parker received a Tony Award in 2001 for Best Actress, for her part as Proof on Broadway.
