Anna Silk was born in Fredericton as the daughter of Peter Silk, an academic and Ilkay Silk, an multi-talented actor, director, producer, playwright, teacher, and Director of Drama of Drama at St. Thomas University. Her father comes from Britain as does her mother, who is the "Turkish English-Cypriot expat." Anna's early memories include attending play rehearsals and observing her mother at working. Early on Anna was a part of a variety of commercials on television. In November 1999, Anna relocated to Toronto for the purpose of advancing her acting career. She eventually shifting in Los Angeles, California, during the decade that followed. Seth Cooperman was introduced to Anna in Los Angeles at an acting workshop in 2007. The two were engaged by the year 2009. Anna, who had converted to Judaism by then, and Seth Cooperman were married in December of 2010 in Fredericton. The couple got married in April 2011, they renewed their wedding vows by having the traditional Jewish ceremony. Bo's romance with Lauren, portrayed by Zoie Parker, was showcased in CNN's list of Favorite Television Couples from all time and was named E!'s Top TV Couple in 2013. Entertainment Television.
