 Nathan John Feuerstein was born on March 30, 1991. His initials NF (stylized IF) are an American rapper, singer and songwriter. Two EPs have been released called I'm Free (2012)[3]and an EP that was self-titled by Capitol CMG in 2014. The first album by a major label, Mansion, was released on March 31, 2015. His second studio album, Therapy Session, was released on April 22, 2016, and peaked at the number 12 spot on the US Billboard 200. The albums have garnered many awards, including the Gospel Music Association Dove Award Rap/Hip Hop album of the year (Therapy Session). NF reached mainstream popularity through Perception in the year 2017. The album peaked on the charts in the United States at number one and was certified platinum. "Let You Fall" was ranked at number 12 on the. Billboard Hot 100 topped the charts across the globe and was a top ten single. His follow-up, The Search (2019) was a commercial smash. Feuerstein said that during his early years, rap was a way to escape. He would record songs using the karaoke machine, recording instrumentals on one microphone and rapping on another. Feuerstein released Moments the first studio album, on his own on the 29th of November, 2010. The first single, "Alone", was released on August 2, 2011. Brooke Griffith was the songwriter and producer for the song. Xist Music noticed Feuerstein’s work in the year 2012. The 2nd of May, 2012, he released his debut extended play I'm Free with production by Profitt. The album's tracklist included nine tracks that included "Alone". The EP also included the original version of Alone with Sean Simmonds. Xist announced that NF would be released in the near future, however Feuerstein quit the label due to an argument. NF production was postponed. NF did include a track with Shuree William "Only One", on the label’s compilation album Move Vol 1 The single was released, "Beautiful Addiction", on November 4, 2013. Profitt also made an appearance on the track. The song featured vocals from Danielle Swift and Brady Schmitz.
